  Support UICC
If you or someone you know has experienced cancer, you share our vision of a world where cancer is eliminated as a major life-threatening disease for future generations.

In recent decades the number of cancer cases has risen sharply. Today, cancer causes more than 1 in 8 deaths worldwide - more than those caused by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria combined.

But there is real hope. With existing knowledge, it is possible to prevent more than 40% of all cancer cases that occur annually, treat a further one-third of those cases successfully, and improve the quality of life for everyone living with cancer.

The International Union Against Cancer (UICC) needs your contribution to prevent and control cancer around the world, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries.
