Membership survey

UICC has developed an exciting new survey for our members to understand how you see us today, how you want us to be in the future, and what we can do together to make the World Cancer Declaration a reality.

I am delighted to include the UICC Member Survey for 2010 with this e-mail.
We know that many of you are extremely busy and such surveys will normally struggle to find themselves at the top of your list of urgent and important tasks, but allow us to provide some context for this particular survey.

When our CEO, Mr Cary Adams joined UICC on 21 September 2009, he promised that as an organization, we would deliver excellence in 2 areas

  • value for our members and
  • greater visibility for UICC and our member associations through the World Cancer Declaration. 

Both undertakings require the team at UICC to understand how you as members see us today, how you want us to be in the future, and what we can do together to make WCD a reality.

The survey is as succinct as possible. We have allowed space for you to both comment on our current performance and to give us your views on how we can improve the services which we provide to you.

Additionally, we have included a section on your own country's progress in delivering the key principles of the Declaration and what plans are in hand to take the next steps.

This will as as a basis for discussions at the General Assembly in August 2010 in China.
