Who can apply?

Cancer researchers

Qualified professional investigators who hold a PhD and/or MD degrees with appropriate postdoctoral experience may apply for:

  • American Cancer Society fellowships for beginning investigators
  • Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial international study grants

Qualified professional investigators who hold at least a BSc (Bachelor of Science) or BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree or an equivalent qualification obtained after at least three years of study may apply for:

  • International cancer technology transfer (ICRETT) fellowships and training workshops

Clinicians

Clinicians are medically qualified professionals who hold, as a minimum, an MD degree or equivalent university diploma and are actively working with cancer patients.

Public health professionals

Public health professionals are epidemiologists, cancer registrars, behavioural scientists, or nurses who are working in cancer control (including tobacco control).
