2011 Host Country Partner – Irish Cancer Society

Beginning in 2011, the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit will be held annually in partnership with a UICC member organisation. UICC has designated the Irish Cancer Society to serve as host country partner for the 2011 Summit.

The Mission of the Irish Cancer Society is to play a vital role in achieving world-class cancer services in Ireland, to ensure fewer people get cancer and those that do have better outcomes. Their goals are focused around prevention, survival and quality of life with three programme areas to achieve them; advocacy, cancer services and research.
